| Welcome! WalkBeckyWalk was created by Becky Brock to promote walking as a weight loss and personal fitness program and raise funds for worthwile causes. My goal of completing a half-marathon was realized in November 2004, but this was only the beginning of my fitness program as I have now walked the 13.1 miles of a half-marathon and crossed the finish line 7 times. Although I have not reached my desired weight goals, research shows that keeping active is more important that maintaining a perfect weight.
